9 years and Counting.....
Dave and I celebrated our 9 year anniversary today! Normally we would go out to eat and catch a movie but we decided that since we had just gone to Vegas that we would stay home and have a nice dinner with the girls to celebrate. Before we left for Vegas Taylor and Maddie started asking me if they could see my wedding dress. I got the idea to have Dave and I dress up for our anniversary- he in a suit and I in the wedding dress. I cannot tell you how cute it was when I walked downstairs and the girls saw me in the dress! Taylor called me a bride all night and they both had to keep touching the dress. We had a candle light dinner, took pictures and did some dancing! It was a great evening- one that none of us will forget for a long time.
Grandma Oh-Oh
Hi All,
I am sure that most of you are aware of the situation with my Grandma but wanted to keep everyone up to date. She has been in and out of the hospital the past few weeks battling numerous things. Her latest diagnosis is not good but she is an AMAZING woman who is putting her complete faith in the Lord for taking care of her. She is battling cancer- for sure Ovarian and they also believe that she has colon and stomach cancer as well but these have not yet been confirmed. Last Monday, they went in to remove a mass from her stomach but were not able to because the mass has wrapped itself around her bladder and other parts of her body. They were not willing to take it out because they didn't know if she could survive the operation. She has been sent home for the time being and needs to rest and regain some strength back. They are going to start Chemotherapy in about 3 weeks. If the mass shrinks while doing the Chemo then they will stop treatment and try to take the mass out again. I ask that you pray for my Grandma- for her strength to begin to come back and for her healing to start so that they can proceed with the Chemo. I also ask that you pray for my Grandpa- he has been lost without his usual Opal in his life and he struggles daily with all that is going on. Finally, I ask that you pray for my mom and for Connie. They have been with my grandparents 24 hours a day this past month and they are worried and stressed to the max. They are amazing women with giving hearts but they too need love and encouragement as they deal with this. Thanks Everyone.

A Piano!
Dave's dad and Lynette bought the girls a piano! We were so thrilled, thankful and excited to have them offer to buy the girls a piano! We have had many wonderful concerts since the piano arrived a few weeks ago! We are so lucky to have such amazing family members who are always so very generous to our children. We love you and thank you very much for this wonderful piano!
I haven't purchased any kids piano music books yet and so the girls have been "making" their own! I love that they use the newspaper as their sheet music! Papa and Grandma Lynette be sure to bring your ear plugs the next time you come to visit!!
